At NellyBells Daycare, our mission is to create a warm, nurturing environment where every child is empowered to take small steps towards giant adventures. We are dedicated to supporting children aged 6 months – 5 years by offering a safe, inclusive, stimulating, and loving space that fosters creativity, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning.

Story of NellyBells Day Care
Director
Welcome to NellyBells Daycare. My name is Ethlyn Roach, and I am a Director of NellyBells Daycare. With a strong professional background as a Social Worker and Manager (currently registered with Social Work England). I bring a wealth of experience in safeguarding, child development, and family support to my childcare setting.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children and families from a variety of backgrounds, always advocating for their safety, happiness, and overall wellbeing. This deep understanding of children’s needs inspired me to create a nurturing and high-quality childcare environment where every child can flourish.
Background of NellyBells Day Care
My Background
Before launching NellyBells Daycare, I spent over 39 years working in Social Services supporting vulnerable children, adults, carers and working collaboratively with families, schools, GP’s and other professionals. My time in social work taught me the importance of early intervention, secure attachments, and providing children with consistent, loving care.
I have channelled that experience into building a daycare where children are not just looked after, but truly seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

As a childcare provider, a parent and grandparent I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I pride myself on creating a home-from-home setting where every child is supported to grow confidently, at their own pace. I believe in fostering curiosity, independence, and kindness — and of course, having lots of fun along the way!
