How do I register my child at NellyBells Daycare?

You can register by contacting us directly to check availability. We’ll provide a registration form and arrange a visit so you can see our setting in person.

We offer a flexible settling-in period tailored to your child’s needs. It usually includes:
• A short parent stay session 
• Short visits where your child stays without you
• Gradual increase in time as they build confidence

Yes, absolutely! We encourage parents to stay during the first session and work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible!

Your child’s Key Worker will provide lots of reassurance, comfort, and one-to-one attention. We follow your child’s pace and keep you informed every step of the way.

Please bring:

• Spare clothes

• Nappies and wipes (included in fees)

• Comfort items (dummy, soft toy, blanket)

• Weather-appropriate clothing (coat, hat, suncream)

• Bottles or special dietary items (if applicable)

 

We provide daily verbal feedback, written updates, and regular progress reviews. We also use a secure parent portal/app to share photos, observations, and messages.

We ask you to share all health details on the registration form. We will create a care plan and train staff as needed to keep your child safe and well.

Yes! We offer full-day, half-day, We will work with you to find a schedule that suits your family.

Children should stay home if they are unwell or contagious. Please notify us as soon as possible. We follow Public Health England guidance on exclusion periods.
